It’s normally with single disc on a central shaft and also available with optionally with multiple interconnected blades. Damper Type Butterfly Valve can be used where leakage is not important. The DAMPER Butterfly Valve is light weight, simple, quickly actuated, and often comparatively low in cost. These precision engineered products are able to meet working demands in high temperature applications. It will be mostly using for low pressure combustion gases at high temperatures up to 600º C Applications in cogeneration plants, waste heat recovery systems. The drive for a butterfly damper is also simple, needing only 90° of motion. These valves can be operated by Handle, Gear, Pneumatic and Electrical Actuators.
